Coming Soon — From Nautical Salute Corporation
FOB Social Focusing On Belonging
A veterans-only social app where veterans can post short videos, gather in Rooms, go live, and talk with people who get it — without the noise of a public feed.
Coming Soon. The app is not open for signup yet. This page will link to the live app when it opens.
What It Will Be
Built For Veterans, By Veterans Helping Veterans
Short Video Feed
Swipe through short videos from veterans — fishing, cooking, music, stories, and everyday life after service.
Rooms
Join a Room on a topic you care about. Rooms can hold more than 6 people, with 6 video tiles active at once and everyone else in the audience, chatting and raising a hand to join video.
Live Sessions
Host your own live session and define the room yourself. Viewers join as chat-only by default and can request to join video, with the host approving.
Friends-Only 1-to-1 Video
Connect as friends first, then video chat one-to-one. No cold calls from strangers.
Veterans Only
Verified Before You Can Fully Join
Every account will be verified by admins before it can fully use FOB Social. New accounts start pending until an admin approves veteran proof, and verified accounts carry a Verified Veteran badge. That is how we keep this a veterans-only space.
When you sign up, you will create a nickname and upload a profile picture, and upload veteran proof with sensitive details redacted. Never upload a full, unredacted DD214.
Want To Hear When It Opens?
FOB Social is coming soon. For now, reach out through Nautical Salute and we will point you to the live app when it opens.
